It was in its largest storage center, located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, that Lockall presented a check for 10,565 euros to representatives of the Necker Hospital – Children Sick. A donation which is part of a partnership launched a year earlier and within the framework of which the company has committed to donating 5 euros for each box rented in its centers. This operation, which results from a solidarity approach carried out on a larger scale, will make it possible to concretely improve the daily lives of patients and their families.
The funds collected will improve the daily lives of patients and their families at the Hospital.
Necker – Sick Children
It was in February 2024 that Lockall, the specialist in 2.0 storage solutions and Maisons des Artisans in Île-de-France, decided to get involved by launching a charitable partnership for the benefit of Necker Hospital. A year later, the operation which consisted of donating 5 euros for each box rented bore fruit with the delivery of a check for 10,565 euros to representatives of the Necker Hospital.
A solidarity approach that matters to Lockall and its teams, declares Alexis de l’Épine, co-founder of the company: “At the genesis of this partnership, the Lockall teams selected the cause they wanted to defend. Presenting this check is a real source of pride because it demonstrates our desire to go beyond our simple activity to have a real impact in our society.”
The funds collected by Lockall will make it possible to finance several measures at Necker Hospital, such as the organization of cultural or educational activities for patients and the financing of operations for parents, such as the installation of chair beds in rooms and the provision of care and psychological support.
Lockall has been committed to its local environment for several years
This is not an isolated action for the Ile-de-France start-up which, since its creation in 2020, has been fighting against the isolation of artisans and small entrepreneurs by offering them the opportunity to come together within its Maisons des Artisans. These sites notably host shared work and storage spaces, workshops and offices to support the development of artisans, VSEs and SMEs who set up there.
If Lockall is mobilizing for national associations, such as in 2023 to provide warm clothing and food to Restos du Cœur, it is also committed to each territory where it is established. For example, the company provides storage space to local Emmaüs branches to store collected furniture, and sponsors several local sports clubs.
ABOUT LOCKALL
Founded in 2020, Lockall is developing a storage solution in Île-de-France for professionals and individuals. This is an offer intended to meet all types of needs with storage boxes ranging from 0.5 to 50 m², without commitment or security deposit.
